About RBCx Analytics  The RBCx Analytics team solves strategic problems across the organization using a data-driven approach. We leverage data to unlock opportunities, influence strategy, assess the impact of business tactics and make relevant recommendations to the individual portfolio companies, internal or external partners. Our team has seen massive growth since inception, and have provided tremendous value across RBCx teams and RBC Lines of Business (LOB).

Our priority is to continue the expansion of the team to scale our services and provide opportunities for new team members to find innovative solutions.

What is the opportunity?

Collaborate with RBCx and/or RBC partners to understand core business goals and help achieve results through a data driven approach

Develop strong relationships with your stakeholders to achieve superior business results and long-lasting impact

Communicate approaches & insights effectively to influence decision making at senior leadership levels.

Spearhead strategic pricing analysis and advisory across the portfolio, identifying optimization opportunities and competitive positioning through data-driven frameworks

Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting strategic planning, scenario analysis, and forecast/plan cycles

Translate financial complexity into actionable insights and recommendations for C-suite and business leadership

Design analyses that assess financial levers (cost structure, revenue mix, capital deployment) and their cascading impact on business performance

Develop pricing implementation roadmaps—from analysis through execution support—partnering with multiple stakeholder teams

What do you need to succeed?
Business acumen grounded in financial fundamentals, analytical rigor, strong communication, and strategic thinking.

Must Have:

5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, management consulting, or business analytics roles

Demonstrated expertise building and managing complex financial models (multi-scenario forecasting, sensitivity analysis, Monte Carlo simulations)

Strong SQL and/or Python skills for data extraction, manipulation, and automation of financial processes

Track record of conducting sophisticated pricing, profitability, or financial impact analyses

Experience translating financial/analytical findings into executive-level recommendations that influenced strategic or operational decisions

Ability to synthesize financial data from multiple sources and communicate insights clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders

Comfort operating at strategic ambiguity—defining problems, scoping analyses, and building analytical roadmaps with limited direction

Proven ability to inform and influence stakeholders cross-functionally through data, building relationships, while communicating early and often

Nice to Have:

Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or quantitative field

Experience with financial planning & analysis (FP&A) tools or ERP systems

Expertise in valuation methodologies or M&A financial analysis

Leadership experience managing analysts or overseeing analytical functions

Background in a specific vertical (fintech, financial services, venture capital) relevant to RBCx

Experience publishing reports/dashboards and visualizations with Tableau is a big plus
