The company is seeking a Director of Finance & Corporate Controller to serve as a senior financial leader reporting directly to the President & CEO. This role is responsible for safeguarding the company’s financial integrity while driving forward-looking financial insight, operational discipline, and governance to support sustainable growth and profitability.
The Director will oversee all core finance functions—including accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, tax, reporting, capital planning, and asset management—while also leading legal, compliance, and corporate governance activities. This leader will build scalable financial systems, strengthen internal controls, and provide strategic analysis that enables sound commercial decision-making across Sales, Product, and Operations.
This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial CPG and retail environment. Success requires strong financial expertise, analytical depth, structured execution, cross‑functional influence, and the ability to build high‑performance teams aligned to company’s long‑term vision.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as primary financial advisor to the President & CEO.
- Lead capital planning, financial governance, and long‑term strategy.
- Support scenario modeling, investment analysis, and profitability improvement.
- Drive disciplined financial planning processes across the organization.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, cashflow, banking relationships, and controls.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and company‑wide financial planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting with transparency into performance drivers.
- Maintain audit readiness and strong internal controls.
- Lead forecasting, modeling, KPI tracking, and performance analytics.
- Support pricing, margin analysis, demand planning, and sales strategy.
- Deliver forward‑looking insights to guide growth and operational decisions.
- Oversee tax compliance, regulatory filings, and corporate governance.
- Manage contracts, IP matters, and external legal partnerships.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Implement and optimize ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Standardize financial workflows for efficiency and scalability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team.
- CPA or equivalent professional designation required.
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Strong background in FP&A, accounting, treasury, and financial controls.
- Experience in CPG, retail, or product‑based businesses preferred.
- Proven ability to build scalable systems in growing organizations.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and strong executive presence.
