Senior North American Payroll Specialist

Our client is a global corporation headquartered in Toronto. This position provides an opportunity to be an integral part in the company's payroll function and support global teams.

This role requires hands-on experience with high-volume payroll processing. This role reports directly to the Global Payroll Manager.

• Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for a growing retail company throughout Canada, US, LATAM and Mexico.
• End-to-end payroll processing for 1000+ employees.
• Must be comfortable overseeing hourly, salaried and unionized payroll cycle for the organization.
• Year-end reconciliation and submission of source deductions, WSIB, EHT etc.
• Ensure that all necessary government filings and remittances are made in a timely manner.
• Report and reconciliation, post to GL and assist finance with payroll accounting.

• Ideally 3-5 years of experience processing high-volume North American and Global payroll.
• PCP or PLP certification an asset.
• Strong understanding of ADP WFN
• Organized and possess a strong attention to detail.
• Can work in a collaborative environment & independently.
• Can work in a fast-paced environment.
