Title:Associate Director, Foreign Currency Intraday Liquidity Management (18 Month Contract)

The Associate Director, Foreign Currency Intraday Liquidity Management Provide oversight into intraday liquidity management, analytics and enhance forecasting capabilities. Contribute to the Bank’s overall intraday liquidity strategies, cash management direction and provide recommendations to Senior Management.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:- Lead and design the evolving foreign currency cash and intraday management processes.
- Manage a team of three direct reports.
- Interpret new and existing local liquidity regulatory reporting requirements related to cash management, intraday liquidity and intraday liquidity stress testing.
- Design and oversee processes, automation, reports and dashboards to ensure compliance and additional management analytics.
- Oversee daily forecast, and intraday liquidity for assigned businesses.
- Oversee internal capital markets funding.
- Make judgement decisions to allocate funds between nostro and central bank accounts based on costs, liquidity ratios, and intraday liquidity strategy.
- Work with stakeholders across business lines in scope to address issues or changes to cash and intraday liquidity management.
- Represent Cash/Intraday Liquidity Management Team on new projects and change management across Europe through effective interaction with board range of stakeholders.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Work with Technology partners.
- 5+ years of experience in Banking.
- Experience or understanding in Treasury is considered an asset.
- Experience being detail oriented, data focused and have the ability to distill information for senior leaders.
- Broadens capabilities; has practical knowledge of financial instruments (derivatives, money market, loans/deposits, securities, etc.) and uses technology to drive solutions.
- Manages ambiguity, ensures team effectiveness and results; analyzes performance metrics to appropriately adjust team focus.
- Results focus is necessary to accomplish goals specific to the team as well as global to GCCIM and to meet with ad-hoc deliverables.
- Excellent Organization and communication (written, verbal, presentation) skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
- Ability to problem solve with minimal supervision.
