We are seeking a commercially oriented Regional Controller to oversee financial performance, operational infrastructure, and entity governance for our North American business.
This role serves as a key financial partner to regional sales leadership and collaborates closely with global headquarters in Vienna, ensuring financial transparency, supporting commercial decision-making, and maintaining the integrity and compliance of our Canadian and U.S. entities.
Combining financial leadership, business controlling, and operational oversight, this position plays a central role in supporting regional performance and organizational effectiveness.
What your role will look like
Sales controlling
- Own regional sales controlling, including sales reporting, budgeting support, and sales administration
- Partner closely with regional sales leadership to support business planning and commercial decision-making
- Provide performance insights by analyzing financial and operational data, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities
- Supporting pricing decisions, partner agreements, and commercial contracts from a financial and governance perspective
- Participate actively in regional sales and management meetings
Finance team leadership and performance
- Lead the local finance and back office teams (3 direct reports), setting direction and prioritization while the team executes day-to-day accounting and administration
- Oversee cash management and banking relationships, including appropriate controls and authorization processes
- Ensure effective governance, internal controls, and alignment with corporate policies and reporting requirements
- Coordinate reporting and governance with HQ Vienna and engage external tax advisors with a solid working understanding of finance topics
Entity stewardship and operational oversight
- Serve as legal officer and authorized signatory for the Canadian entity (Canadian citizenship required)
- Ensure the Canadian and U.S. entities meet statutory, tax, and fiscal obligations
- Oversee regional administrative infrastructure, including office operations in Toronto and core back-office functions
- Manage vendor relationships and contractual agreements ensuring alignment with business needs and expectations
- Drive operational effectiveness by identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical improvements to processes and cost structure
- Ensure business continuity of regional operations including order desk support, administrative workflows, and cross-functional coordination
What you bring
- 10+ years of experience in sales controlling, finance, business finance roles or other relevant functions
- 5+ years of experience leading teams, ideally managing operational finance functions
- Experience supporting commercial or sales organizations from a financial and operational perspective
- Experience with CRM and sales reporting tools (Salesforce strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Canadian citizenship (required for legal entity officer responsibilities)
- A high degree of ownership, accountability and discretion required for stewardship of entities
- Experience working closely with sales teams and commercial leadership
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Nice to have :
