The Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Investments & Finance, the Associate Director will lead key aspects of the investment process - from financial analysis and due diligence to market research, deal structuring, and financing support. This individual will also oversee and mentor junior team members and work closely with leaders across the Construction, Development, and Asset Management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain detailed financial models and proformas for new developments and acquisitions
Support the evaluation of new investment opportunities across residential, commercial, and senior living sectors
Conduct market and competitive research to inform investment decisions
Play a lead role in structuring and securing both debt and equity financing
Participate in due diligence and coordinate cross-functional input on prospective deals
Collaborate with senior internal stakeholders to align investment analysis with broader business strategies
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members within the Investments group
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in real estate investment, development, or finance, ideally with exposure to multiple asset types
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or CFA is an asset
Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
Solid understanding of real estate capital markets and financing structures
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and support complex transactions
Strong communication and presentation skills
