Department Overview

TD Asset Management (TDAM) is a leading investment manager. TDAM manages over $500 billion in assets. The Equity Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team links equity portfolio teams to distribution channels.

Job Description / Accountabilities

As part of the Equity Client Portfolio Management team, the CPM will advocate TDAM’s equity capabilities with a focus on quantitative equity strategies and support broader platform functions. The role is client‑facing, engaging institutional and retail audiences, and collaborating across functional teams.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Advocate TDAM’s principles, process, performance, and portfolio positioning to internal and external clients.
Investment Expertise & Research
  • Represent portfolio management on topics related to financial markets and TDAM’s investment capabilities.
  • Apply TDAM’s fundamental and quantitative investment process, market outlook, portfolio construction, active/passive strategies, factor investing, and ESG integration.
Content Creation & Communication
  • Subject matter expert in creating communication content supporting marketing and distribution of TDAM’s solution set.
  • Provide updates on financial market performance, draft opinion pieces, construct presentation material, write portfolio commentaries.
Product & Business Development Support
  • Liaison between Portfolio Management, Sales, Marketing & Communications to identify opportunities and support design of investment solutions.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience
  • CFA designation and a relevant undergraduate degree.
  • 5+ years in capital markets with strong exposure to equity strategies; quantitative equity experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies, portfolio construction concepts.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Analytical abilities with proficiency interpreting performance, attribution, risk analytics.
  • High proficiency with analytical tools and market data platforms.
  • Independent and collaborative across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Self‑starter with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of client channels including retail and institutional investors.
  • Graduate degree and bilingual French–English are assets.
