Finance Business Partner

Overview

We currently have an opening for a full-time Finance Business Partner based in Toronto, Ontario.

Reporting to the Director, Finance Business Partnering, the Finance Business Partner will execute high performance business partnering for ALK's Canadian affiliate, adding value to the business through financial analysis and modeling, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support the Canadian management team, and support global forecasting, budgeting and reporting needs.

• Support, challenge & influence decision making processes with key stakeholders of ALK's Canadian affiliate to achieve their financial objectives
• Challenge the business value propositions and cost drivers to profitably drive growth
• Understand the needs of key stakeholders and internal customers and deliver satisfactory service
• Monitor and communicate financial performance
• Provide monthly reporting including insightful analysis and financial comments
• Develop new and innovative analytics to explain business performance
• Effectively communicate complex data, trends and financial modelling results to a wide range of audiences
• Work closely with the rest of Global Business Finance to standardize & automate reporting processes
• Lead the Annual Business Plan & Strategic Business Plan processes for ALK's Canadian affiliate from a financial perspective
• Drive S&OP process from a Business Finance perspective

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• >5 years as a Controller / Finance Business Partner with experience in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Experience with supporting with supporting pharmaceutical sales organizations
