A specialized tax advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager ready to take their career beyond compliance and into advanced Canadian and international tax planning. This is a high-touch, partner‑led environment where curiosity, problem‑solving, and comfort with complexity are essential.

You’ll manage diverse planning projects—corporate reorganizations, trust and estate planning, succession strategies, and cross‑border matters—working directly with clients and collaborating closely with partners. No repetitive compliance work; every engagement is unique and challenging.

• Serve as the primary client contact, delivering high‑quality, technically sound tax planning advice.
• Lead engagements from initial scoping through to successful implementation.
• Design tax‑efficient structures and oversee technical research, analysis, and memorandum preparation.
• Guide and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and reviewing their work.
• Collaborate with clients and partners in strategic planning discussions.

• Proven leadership in tax advisory, with 5+ years of experience and at least 1–2 years in a management role.
• CPA designation (or equivalent) and a strong technical foundation in Canadian tax law; familiarity with cross‑border matters is an advantage.
• A long‑term commitment to building expertise in complex tax planning.
• Analytical mindset, adaptability in dynamic situations, and a collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues.
