Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior
Manager to join our Indirect Tax Services team. This is for existing vacancy where the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
Provide Indirect Tax support to colleagues and clients in relation to Goods & Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax, and provincial-level sales taxes in Quebec, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, carbon taxes, Luxury Tax and Underused Housing Tax
Research Indirect Tax issues and prepare correspondence and related client deliverables
Oversee and review Indirect Tax compliance for clients
Liaise with tax authorities on Indirect Tax matters for clients
Assist with tax authority examinations, audits, and voluntary disclosures as they relate to Indirect Taxes
Manage practice matters, such as billings, accounts receivable and client onboarding procedures
Assist with the coaching and development of junior team members
Identify opportunities to assist colleagues and clients with Indirect Taxes
Remain up to date with all legislation pertaining to Indirect Taxes

Your experience and education
A CPA/CMA/CGA designation is preferred but not required
You have completed the CPA GST/HST In-Depth Course
You have a minimum of eight years' experience with indirect taxes
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
The expected range of compensation for this role is: $ 125,000 to $ 175,000
