Finance Analyst

Location: 40 King Street

Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid – 3 days – Monday and Friday mandatory

Contract Duration: 9 Months

Possibility of Extension & Conversion to FTE: Yes

Schedule Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

• 2+ years of financial analyst experience.
• 2+ years of strong accounting foundation with hands‑on experience in month‑end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• 2+ years of experience preparing financial statements for regulatory, statutory, or internal reporting.
• 2+ years of experience with Excel and strong PC skills, including People Soft Financials, Broadridge, OBI, Smart View, or similar systems.

• Experience with process improvement or efficiency initiatives.
• Exposure to legal entity accounting, litigation provisions, or operational risk reporting.
• Financial institutions experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external auditors.
• Proactive problem solving and sound judgment under pressure.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, managing multiple deliverables with minimal supervision.

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) completed or in progress.
