This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong, detail‑oriented finance professional with deep accounting expertise, exceptional analytical ability, and the drive to take full ownership of complex fund reporting. Candidates coming from public accounting (Big 4 or similar) who have transitioned into fund/real‑estate finance—or are ready to make that move—will excel in this role.
WhatYou’ll Accomplish in This Role Financial Reporting & Consolidations
- Lead monthly and quarterly reporting cycles for multiple real‑estate funds
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, investor summary packages, and portfolio analyses
- Complete annual fund consolidations, audit working papers, and ASPE financial statements
- Liaise directly with external auditors and the internal tax team
- Manage the annual budgeting process for assigned funds
- Oversee treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, managing borrowings, and debt allocation
- Prepare debt compliance packages and maintain capital models to ensure covenant compliance
- Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, investor statements, and related documentation
- Maintain and test the integrity of the investor database
- Respond to investor queries and ensure accurate, timely delivery of information
- Collaborate with asset management and investments teams on information requests
- Review SOAs and provide analysis as needed
- Contribute to ad‑hoc financial analysis supporting fund performance and internal decision‑making
- 4–5 years of experience in finance or accounting
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or similar) strongly preferred
- Real‑estate or fund audit/finance experience an asset
- Strong understanding of ASPE and consolidated financial statements
- Advanced Excel skills;
Yardi experience considered an asset - Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while managing competing deadlines

Compensation: $115,000 – $130,000 base salary plus 20–40% bonus
Vacation: 3 weeks
