As we modernize and enhance our operational infrastructure, we’re seeking a Reconciliation Administrator who brings both reconciliation expertise and technology-driven thinking to the table. This individual will be part of a small but highly collaborative team responsible for cash and asset reconciliation while also supporting the design and implementation of our next-generation reconciliation platform and Target Operating Model (TOM).

Standard working hours for this role is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST, subject to change based on business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Core Reconciliation Duties
  • Perform daily cash and asset reconciliations, aligning our book of records with banks, custodians, depositories (e.g., CDS/DTC), and counter parties.
  • Investigate, resolve, and escape reconciliation breaks to minimize risk and ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze exception trends, working proactively with internal and external stakeholders to address root causes.
  • Build and maintain reconciliation workflows using DUCO.
Platform & Process Enhancement
  • Support the implementation and testing of a new reconciliation platform.
  • Participate in the rollout of a new Target Operating Model (TOM), defining roles, responsibilities, and control checkpoints.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and control.
Reporting & Metrics
  • Help prepare reconciliation dashboards and KPIs for management reporting.
  • Track performance metrics, exception volumes, and root-cause resolutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING Education & Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in reconciliations, financial operations, or data analytics in a financial services environment.
  • Hands‑on experience using DUCO or similar reconciliation platforms (highly preferred).
  • Exposure to depository systems like CDS/DTC is an asset.
Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced), with VBA an asset.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks or robotic process automation (RPA) is a plus.
Soft Skills
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Adaptable to change and excited by technology‑driven transformation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science
