Who we need

Reporting to the Director, IT & Fraud, we are looking for a Fraud Analyst. You will be working with a team dedicated to combating fraud, analyzing fraud journeys and managing risks for loyalty redemptions. Your goal will be to minimize our fraud exposure and support our business operations and growth.

We are a full‑time hybrid role, working 3 days a week in the office, with the requirement to work weekends on a rotational basis.

As

our new Fraud Analyst, you will:
  • Focus on fraud operations. You will regularly review fraud alerts and member‑reported fraud claims to assess the nature of transactions. Utilizing critical thinking and standard operating procedures (SOPs), you will determine the validity of alerts or claims and report transactions accordingly.
  • Investigate. You will review fraud reported adjustments to identify anomalies that require further investigation, review suspicious activity to prevent potential fraud and action escalated cases that are reported by members.
  • Analyze. You will analyze and document business requirements related to fraud prevention and detection. You will extract, analyze, and interpret fraud‑related data from the data warehouse to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Using analytical tools and critical thinking, you will generate insights to support fraud detection, prevention strategies, and operational decision‑making.
  • Collaborate. You will involve collaborating with stakeholders to identify potential fraud risks and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them. You will work closely with other departments such as Cybersecurity, Legal and Member services as well as partner fraud departments to resolve fraud issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Implement automation. You will leverage automation in day‑to‑day fraud monitoring and within the fraud prevention platform to streamline investigative workflows, complete reporting, and enhance fraud monitoring capabilities.
  • Optimize policies and procedures. You will ensure that new requirements align with our current fraud management processes and organizational goals.
