A well-established and fast-growing real estate development and investment firm is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations and support major urban development projects across the Greater Toronto Area and select Canadian markets. With a diverse portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and industrial projects, the firm is known for delivering impactful, design-forward developments in key growth corridors. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is looking to take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and project financing for high-profile developments.

- Lead all financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting across active and pipeline development projects.
- Oversee cash flow management, project financing, and capital planning to ensure optimal use of financial resources.
- Collaborate with development and construction teams to monitor project budgets, identify risks, and ensure financial alignment with project timelines and business goals.
- Manage lender relationships and coordinate the preparation and submission of construction draw packages, compliance certificates, and covenant reporting.
- Prepare internal reporting packages for senior leadership and external reporting for joint venture partners, investors, and financial institutions.
- Supervise accounting processes related to development projects, including accounts payable, intercompany transactions, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support audit processes and ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally with a focus in real estate, development, or construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of real estate finance, development lifecycle, and capital structuring.
- Proven experience with project-level financial oversight, lender reporting, and budget control.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial software (Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
