About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, with our alternative asset and accounting services being highly respected in the industry. Our ongoing investment in learning and technology enables us to deliver a seamless client experience.

As a key member of our Private Assets team, you will collaborate with accomplished professionals to provide award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients rely on.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of fund accounting experience in Private Equity Funds, Private Equity administration, or related financial institutions, with knowledge of financial products.
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Project management abilities with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with Sun Gard Investran PE platform is a plus.

Your Role:

• Complete monthly net asset value calculations, including cash and portfolio reconciliations, income and expense accruals, partner/shareholder allocations, and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
• Prepare and review trial balances and work papers.
• Manage the timing and quality of client deliverables.
• Interact with senior management and clients.
• Provide technical accounting and industry expertise to clients.
• Coordinate with Operations, Tax, Investor Relations, Financial Statement groups, and others at Citco.
• Review partnership agreements, PPMs, and related materials for private equity fund clients.
• Implement fund structures in the accounting system.
• Collaborate with the P&L team on valuations and price analysis.
• Complete ad hoc reports as required.
