Reporting to the Director of Research, the Credit Research Intern will:
Be assigned a discrete sector and group of credits to analyze.
Conduct in-depth fundamental research and assess relative value to make buy and sell recommendations on specific bonds.
Have full and sole responsibility for those credits and access to all resources available to a full-time Credit Analyst.
Collaborate with Credit Analysts covering related sectors and work closely with a mentor.
Have regular communication with a Director of Research. Training resources are available as required.
Identify key drivers and generate high-conviction conclusions on the outcome of each driver and resulting impact on credit performance.
Clearly articulate analysis in written notes and slides, presenting final conclusions to Credit Analysts and Portfolio Managers.
