Expected Salary Range: $87,000-$112,000
Maximum Bonus Potential: 15% target bonus, that rewards exceptional performance.

The OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Business Performance, the Senior Financial Analyst, Business Performance is responsible for assessing operational performance through metrics and contributes to our culture of performance measurement and continuous improvement. In this role you will build strong cross-functional relationships with the Finance, Operations, Resident Experience, Sales & Marketing, IT, and People Development teams to understand the needs of their business lines, how they measure success, and how their success generates value for the organization.
WhatYou Will Be Doing Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the annual operating budget process
- Improve the annual budget/operating plan processes to increase accuracy and reduce compilation time
- Create a holistic forecasting process and drive the creation of a forecast model in our planning system including the ability to execute scenario planning
- Support training of stakeholders on budget tools and best practices
- Support the creation of the final Operating Plan presentation
- Build and implement tools to identify, measure, and analyze lead and lag performance metrics
- Create a sustainable process for identifying the need for dashboards and streamline creation to match operational needs
- Foster a business performance mindset and support the development of an analytical mindset in the Finance Operations team
- Ensure that weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting is prepared accurately and delivered on time
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus on Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of finance experience
- Currently has or is pursuing a professional degree or accreditation in a discipline that teaches quantitative analysis and critical thinking (e.g., CPA, MBA, CFA)
- Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced Excel skills
- Experience using Yardi, Power BI and One Stream, SQL, Power BI considered an asset
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of accounting principle
- Self-starter, ability to learn quickly and applies critical thinking to all aspects of analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and create effective presentations
- Experience in similar industry (e.g., senior living, healthcare, real estate, hospitality) considered an asset

- Hybrid work model, in office 2-3 times a week
