The Metals Company is advancing toward commercial operations on the world’s largest undeveloped seabed resource of base metals. As a Manager of FP&A and AI Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, and the integration of artificial intelligence to drive efficiency and strategic decision making.

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for mid- to long‑term planning, leveraging AI tools.
• Collaborate with the Project Cost Controller to validate project assumptions.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses for investment decisions.
• Prepare multi‑year financial reports (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, EBITDA) for leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Identify and implement AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in finance processes.
• Drive automation in record‑keeping, reconciliations, expense management, and reporting.
• Ensure process improvements align with SOX controls.
• Partner with technology providers and internal teams to integrate AI solutions.

• Work with department heads to align financial planning with operational priorities.
• Provide insights on cost optimization, capital allocation, and investments.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with the CFO, CAO, and department heads.
• Prepare materials for the Audit Committee, Board, and external stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 5–7 years’ experience in FP&A, investment banking, or corporate finance in a public company.
• Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with major project evaluations (ideally feasibility studies).
• Exposure to digital finance transformation and AI‑assisted solutions.
• Experience in metals, mining, or energy sectors preferred.

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP and financial planning tools.
• Familiarity with data analytics platforms and AI applications in finance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Proven success working independently and as part of a team.
