Associate Label Manager, Canada
, you’ll play an integral role on the Big Loud Records International team, focused on driving results for our artists in the Canadian market. This position combines data and reporting, campaign execution, and on-the-ground support for streaming, radio, touring and events. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for Canadian partners, helping to translate global strategy into local impact while maintaining strong communication with the Global Marketing team.
The ideal candidate brings existing relationships within the Canadian music ecosystem and a strong understanding of how to move campaigns forward.
- Lead weekly reporting for the Canadian market (streaming, global play listing, Canadian radio, CAN Reality Report), including preparing and distributing campaign performance reports (e.g., Music Connect, airplay, charts) to internal stakeholders and the global marketing team.
- Support streaming strategy by tracking playlists, identifying opportunities and fostering relationships with major DSPs.
- Lead Canadian radio promotion, including working singles at Canadian country radio, maintaining standing calls with reporting country stations nationally, and managing campaign tracking, contesting, mailers, and station feedback.
- Cover Canadian shows and events as needed, including ticketing, guest lists, meet & greets, fan activations, and promo events around tour dates.
- Lead travel planning and logistics around the Canadian Country Music Awards, including flights, hotel blocks, and daily schedules.
- Handle day-to-day administration, timelines and coordination between Canadian partners.
- Manage Music Canada certifications by maintaining accurate internal records of all certifications and achievements.
- Support global and Canadian play listing and marketing strategies with localized Canadian insights and market feedback.
- Assist with planning and logistics for additional Canadian and international promo trips, tours, and special events, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of Big Loud’s Canadian and international priorities.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for music and artist development.
- 2+ years of experience in the music industry, with meaningful exposure to the Canadian market.
- Established relationships with key contacts at Canadian DSPs, radio, media, and/or brand partners and a track record of using those relationships to advance campaigns or projects.
- Understanding of streaming and DSP ecosystems and the Canadian radio landscape.
- Proficiency with data and reporting tools, including Excel/Google Sheets, Music Connect, and airplay/chart platforms.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence in partner-facing interactions.
- Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and to work some evenings and weekends for shows, events, and promo activities.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must hold a valid Canadian passport.
- Primary duties will be performed in Canada (Toronto, Ontario preferred). Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be considered, subject to Company approval.
- The role will require evening and weekend work in connection with shows, events, and artist activities.
- Travel within Canada as required for shows, meetings, Award shows and industry events.
