Job DescriptionA skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Works Design Coordinator to support the design, coordination, and management of temporary works across construction projects. This role acts as a key liaison between designers, project managers, and stakeholders during a defined contract period.
Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day design activities across the project
- Manage project timelines, schedules, and deadlines
- Track revisions, and ensure approvals are completed
- Liaise between designers, vendors, and internal teams
- Organize and maintain design files, documentation, and submission logs
- Support meetings, presentations, and design progress reporting
- Assist with quality control to ensure brand and design standards are met
- Coordinate all temporary works from concept through design, installation, use, modification, and removal
- Maintain and update the Temporary Works Register, ensuring all items are properly classified, tracked, and authorized
- Ensure appropriate Temporary Works Categories are assigned and approved
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically 3–5 years of experience in temporary works design or coordination.
- Good understanding of temporary works systems, including formwork, scaffolding, shoring, and other temporary structures.
- Familiarity with relevant construction codes, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Experience supporting temporary works on civil, building, or infrastructure projects.
- Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail and quality.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
-Microsoft tools Proficient in MS Office and construction planning tools - Ability to work effectively within a team environment and demonstrate initiative.
