The Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Program Lead provides guidance and coaching to the program team. The I&C Program Lead is a senior member of the engineering leadership team and will report to the I&C Department Lead. Key duties include:

• Lead a team of I&C Engineers / Specialist and designers for a Sustainable program or multiple projects at a time
• Be Responsible as a senior Technical resource, Checker and a Consultant for the I&C department
• Provide technical guidance and mentor intermediate / junior engineers in their day to day activities
• Review of client’s scope documents, seek clarifications on I&C scope and provide detailed I&C man-hour estimations for the proposals
• Coordinate with Project management team such that I&C activities are aligned with the agreed project schedule and client’s expectations
• Review / check I&C deliverables including datasheets, sizing calculations, MR packages and Control drawing / deliverables
• Assist in preparation of cost estimates for I&C bids and proposal work
• Provide I&C inputs to the detailed scope of work, design basis documents and project execution plan
• Represent I&C team to the client and be responsible for meeting client’s expectations
• Steer review sessions for I&C deliverables with different project stakeholders including client’s operations/project team
• Perform other duties as requested

• Ten (10) years or more of experience in Instrumentation and Controls in the Oil and Gas Industry
• CET minimum required or P Eng. (preferred)
• Leadership experience demonstrated in Instrumentation and Controls in past projects
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong ability to co-ordinate all Instrumentation and Controls work with multi-disciplinary teams including Process, Mechanical, Civil / Structural, Electrical, and CAD support
• Strong understanding of the project management methodologies
• Capable of providing Engineering estimates
• Ability to work within a diverse team environment
