    Are you excited by the idea of improving how organizations plan, collaborate, and make datadriven decisions? Do you want handson experience working at the intersection of operations, technology, and business strategy? Join IAMGOLD as an Integrated Planning Intern and help shape tools and processes that strengthen our operational planning across the company.

    In this role, you’ll support the development of integrated planning tools, enhance communication channels, and help streamline the flow of information across corporate teams and mine sites. You’ll gain meaningful experience with production planning, software evaluation, data centralization, and process improvement, while working alongside engineering, operations, and business planning professionals.

    This Internship is from May 4, 2026 to August 28, 2026.

    What You’ll Do

    1. Integrated Planning & Tools Development

  • Support the creation and enhancement of integrated planning models and processes.
  • Assist in developing new tools to support operations teams—particularly for production planning.
  • Help identify opportunities to standardize and improve planning workflows.
  • 2. Digital Collaboration & Information Centralization

  • Help centralize information using Outlook, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
  • Evaluate new software and digital solutions to improve data exchange and collaboration.
  • Recommend improvements to communication tools and digital planning interfaces.
  • 3. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

  • Engage with corporate teams, site teams, and external consultants or suppliers.
  • Follow up on key planning initiatives and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support the delivery of business planning materials through timely and accurate data collection.
  • 4. Reporting & Business Planning Support

  • Contribute to routine and ad hoc business planning reports and deliverables.
  • Validate and analyze data to support decision making.
  • Participate in mining studies to gain exposure to operational planning and mine design concepts.
  • 5. Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Update and enhance existing planning templates.
  • Create clear documentation that reflects new processes and improvements.
  • Assist with maintaining organized planning files and version control.
  • What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled fulltime in Mining Engineering or Computer Engineering program.
  • Coursework or interest in Finance/Commerce is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, Oracle, AutoCAD, Power BI; familiarity with Deswik and/or Minesight is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • French language skills are an advantage
