The Opportunity

Innovate and Lead  – As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our Buildings Healthcare Sector, you’ll take complex healthcare design projects from concept to completion, applying advanced technical expertise to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable facilities. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor emerging professionals, and contribute to projects that improve healthcare infrastructure across Ontario.

Your Impact

Mechanical design for healthcare facilities, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, fuel oil, medical gases, and building automation systems.

Ensure compliance with National, Provincial, and Municipal Codes and Standards, including CSA Z317.1 and CSA Z317.2.

Prepare calculations, specifications, and drawings using industry-specific software and technologies.

Research and implement innovative design solutions to meet client objectives and sustainability goals.

Manage contract administration and client services, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets.

Participate in proposal preparation and business development activities.

The Skills That Set You Apart

Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.

10+ years of experience in consulting mechanical design engineering for Canadian healthcare buildings.

Expertise in CSA healthcare standards and sustainable design practices; LEED accreditation is an asset.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Microsoft Office; experience with MEP Revit and Bluebeam Studio is highly desirable.

Knowledge of P3 projects and healthcare facility requirements.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:  $93,700 – $124,200

MB & ON:  $85,500 – $117,800

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:  $84,700 – $112,400
