Senior Quality Specialist
As a Senior Quality Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of rail and transit systems across Canada. This is your chance to contribute to projects that enhance mobility, improve safety, and create sustainable communities.
Your Impact- Develop and implement a Transportation Systems Quality Management System aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Lead the creation of Quality Management Plans and procedures for major projects, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct project audits and analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to resolve technical issues and maintain quality standards.
- Train project teams on QMS requirements, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Monitor nonconformance reports and ensure timely resolution to maintain project integrity.
- University degree in Engineering and recognized quality assurance/quality control designation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in rail systems projects using CENELEC and/or AREMA standards.
- Internal and/or Lead Auditor certification; PMP and/or P.Eng designation is an asset.
- Proven experience in consulting engineering environments and managing complex quality processes.
- Strong knowledge of Rail Systems QA/QC principles and lifecycle phases (design, testing, integration).
- Proficiency in tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.

- Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, Yukon: $135,200 – $179,100
- Manitoba & Ontario: $123,300 – $169,800
- New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island & Quebec: $122,100 – $162,200
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The wage range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
