Electrical EIT. A market leader in MEP building services engineering is hiring for an Electrical EIT. They support project portfolios for federal government, property managers, developers, large corporate clients. Designing and engineering building systems for new and existing buildings. They are a premium-positioned firm with a focus on quality, service, and repeat business.

Salary: $75 000 to $90 000

Logistics: hybrid in Toronto, ON

• Carry out electrical building systems design and engineering projects for multiple sectors (government, institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
• Feasibility research and design of building electrical systems: power distribution, utilities connections, lighting, controls, emergency power, life-safety systems, and fire alarms, renewable power generation and storage.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, architects, facility management to develop detailed designs.
• Electrical design to support tenant and mechanical system upgrades.
• From project initiation to completion, support the team by providing equipment selections, cost and timing, estimates, reports, design specifications and drawings for building electrical systems.

• Registered with PEO
• Completion of a bachelor’s degree in engineering with Electrical Engineering focus.
• 1-3 years relevant working experience in electrical building systems engineering including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and associated systems.
• Institutional, Industrial, Commercial and Residential building design experience considered an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Project experience with local Electrical Codes and Provincial Building Codes.
