As a Technician, you will work on various construction projects related to Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring, and Condition Surveys.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conduct field monitoring using total stations and digital inclinometers
• Perform condition surveys of properties, structures, and right-of-ways
• Process data and prepare technical reports
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain geotechnical instruments
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
• Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development opportunities

• Has a valid provincial driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Has a College Diploma (civil, geotechnical) or other applicable degree in a civil engineering or technology-based field
• Experience working with power tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge and skill with Word processing and Excel software
• Able to adhere to prescribed technical procedures, safe work practices and work plans in a safe, efficient manner
• Previous experience working with total station and survey equipment is an asset

The salary range for this position is $56,325 to $73,927 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.

Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
