- Canada EPM Canada Services currently has opportunities for experienced fire protection engineers with nuclear plant background. Come join our team of talented fire protection professionals and provide solutions to the nuclear power industry.
Education:
B.S. or M.S. degree in Fire Protection Engineering, or similar discipline, preferred
Experience &
Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience (10 years preferred), registered P.Eng is preferred.
Working knowledge of fire codes/standards
Fire hazard analysis, fire modeling and/or compliance with nuclear fire protection regulations
Fire protection system design, evaluation, and consulting.
Self-sufficient and able to work independently as well as contribute to team efforts.
Ability to manage and mentor junior fire protection engineers.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity and use of hydraulic calculation software/models is a plus.
Requirements:
Willingness to travel occasionally
