MUST Have Laboratory Certification experience.

Bonus with 2-3weeks’ vacation

Travel:
Once qualified to work independently-some travel within Canada/USA (1 to 3 days)--infrequent

Overview

Product Certification, Testing, and Field Evaluation services, including pre-certification review, testing, evaluation, and certifications for electrical equipment used in Canada, the USA, the EU, and all Global markets. Client specializes in serving the industries producing products for Hazardous Locations, Alternative Energy, Medical Equipment, Industrial Control, Commercial, and Consumer Products industries. Custom testing services include Explosion proof equipment, Intrinsically Safe equipment and circuits, Nonincendive equipment and circuits, Gas Detection, and testing to all electrical product safety standards.

Certifications for Canada, US, IECCB, and IECEx, Certification assistance / testing / evaluation services for ATEX approval, MSHA approval, and all National markings for the global market.

Skills:

Good knowledge in terms of understanding electronic circuits

Proficient in reading and analyzing electrical schematics

Proficient in using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies.

Experience:

Past knowledge of CSA, UL and IEC Stds.

Laboratory testing of electrical equipment—2 years min.

As above with more than 5 years direct experience.

Good knowledge in terms of understanding electronic circuits

Proficient in reading and analyzing electrical schematics

Proficient in using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies.

Good speaking and communication skills
