The Senior Drainage Design Engineer will lead the design and implementation of drainage and stormwater management systems for major infrastructure projects in Ontario. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high‑quality engineering solutions.

• Lead the design and development of innovative drainage & stormwater systems for infrastructure projects.
• Provide guidance in hydraulic & hydrologic modeling, stormwater management, and erosion control.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
• Ensure all designs comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate drainage solutions into broader project designs.
• Conduct field inspections and site assessments to verify quality, functionality, and performance.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, detailed drawings, and precise specifications.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
  Master’s preferred.
• 8‑10 years of experience in drainage design and stormwater management on infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation with Ontario (PEO) required.
• Proficiency in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software (HEC‑RAS, SWMM), CAD (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, Open Roads), and GIS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex technical information clearly.

The salary range for this position is $78,000 – $117,000. Base salary will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
