Job DescriptionWSP is currently seeking a BIM Modeler to join our dynamic Structural Modeling team, located at our Toronto or Thornhill office, reporting to the BIM Manager. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment, requiring full project engagement in modeling innovative design solutions from inception through to construction.

- Develop and model building elements using Revit software.
- Take ownership of specific tasks within a team environment.
- Coordinate with other project disciplines.
- Support established BIM standards and modeling best practices.
- Maintain Revit families with advanced knowledge.
- Promote BIM technologies and practices to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Attend internal and external project meetings.
- Identify and pursue training opportunities to increase technical and project knowledge.
- 3‑6 years of experience and education background in Revit and Micro Station.
- Experience in construction and/or consulting services.
- Excellent practical knowledge of building information modeling (BIM).
- In‑depth experience modeling with Revit for a medium to large‑sized structural engineering firm.
- In‑depth knowledge of Revit families and templates.
- Understanding of Dynamo scripting.
- Promote and support practices that improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Knowledge of interoperability of BIM modeling and design tools.
- Creative problem‑solving skills.
- Customer‑service oriented and committed to team collaboration.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong, self‑motivated work ethic with the ability to deliver timely and quality outcomes.
- Organized and methodical with a capacity for resolving challenges.
- Strong commitment to producing quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
