The incumbent is responsible for supporting and upholding the Bank’s application change control standards. The Solution Architect will design, develop, and implement comprehensive IT solutions that meet the requirements of Application Security within the bank. This role requires a deep understanding of various technologies, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Supporting several projects – DAST SCA SBOM, vulnerability reporting management and others as needed in cloud and App Sec.

Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills- 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, and implementation.
- 2+ years’ experience in networking and IT security best practices.
- 5+ years’ experience with multiple design patterns (microservices, APIs, enterprise integration patterns).
- TOGAF an asset.
- Hands‑on development experience in python or java.
- Application Security experience.
- 2+ years’ experience with cloud architecture on enterprise‑scale projects (e.g. multi‑cloud, hybrid deployments).
- Problem‑Solving: strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to devise innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Leadership: proven leadership abilities with experience in leading cross‑functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organization, time management, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s in a technical field.
- TOGAF an asset.
2–3 Rounds – MS Teams Video Interviews – all panels. 1st – 30 to 45 minutes – panel of project team members (HM, technical resources) – initial assessment with senior team membership to assess fit. 2nd – 45 minutes – follow‑up interview with technical team members probing on technical expertise and project experience. Potential – 3rd if needed to decide between candidates.
