Réalis’ Engineering Services group, the municipal infrastructure team specializes in providing a full range engineering services for infrastructure projects to local, national, and international clients.

The municipal infrastructure team is looking for an
** Intermediate Water Resources Engineer
** to join our growing team to work on one the most important Canadian airport projects.

This role will be based in
** Toronto, Ontario**. Occasional travel within Canada may be required.## ##
** Your role
*** Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analysis, including flood mapping, water balance analysis, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, and LID Design.
* Develop engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, specifications, bid documents, engineering directives, and other data, according to client specifications for municipal road and highway infrastructure projects.
* Performs basic calculations to analyze and design water resources system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software (e.g., Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, GIS, Culvert Master, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY8, Culvert Master, AutoCAD etc.).
* Working knowledge of using different design criteria manuals from Cities, MTO, MOE, and Conservation Authorities.
* Design and prepare profiles, cross sections, and storm drainage systems.
* Prepare reports, calculations, technical memos, and meeting minutes.
* Support project management, proposal writing and business development and client base support. Coordinate with other disciplines.##
** About you
*** Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Water Resources) from a recognized institution, master’s degree is an asset. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng).
* Minimum of 5 years of Water Resources Engineering experience and working knowledge of current design software including Micro Station, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
* Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and project engineering in municipal roads and/or highways including preliminary and detailed design, specifications, and contract documents.
* Ability to work on multiple projects and meet established deadlines. Demonstrated problem solving ability.
* Effective interpersonal skills, a strong client-service focus, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.##
