Principal Senior Practice Lead

Responsibilities:

Lead the creation and execution of active transportation and mobility master plans.

Stay informed on national and regional transportation trends, policies, and innovations.

Mentor junior staff and contribute to talent development within the team.

Identify new business opportunities and support proposal development.

Provide technical oversight on the design of cycling infrastructure, protected intersections, and complete streets.

Cultivate strong relationships with municipal and private sector clients.

Manage project teams, budgets, and timelines to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Direct stakeholder and public engagement programs to ensure inclusive and transparent planning.

Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Professional designation (e.g., RPP, P.Eng., or equivalent).

Minimum 15 years of experience in transportation planning or engineering.

Proven leadership in delivering sustainable transportation projects.

Strong project management and client engagement skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.

Experience with municipal mobility programs and infrastructure design.

Familiarity with micromobility systems.

Understanding of regional transportation policies.
