Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Developer Productivity Engineer to join our team dedicated to optimizing engineer productivity through innovative tooling and automation. As a key player on the Developer Productivity team, you will take ownership of and provide support for critical development tools including Tilt for Kubernetes development orchestration, Vivaldi for containerized environments, custom incident tooling, and specialized engineering operations bots.
This role requires a passion for improving engineering workflows, a knack for automation, and a commitment to delivering best-in-class solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the use of Tilt for seamless Kubernetes development orchestration.
- Support Vivaldi, our Docker-based development environment, ensuring a robust local Auth0 cluster setup.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to enhance our incident management ecosystem through technical solutions and automation.
- Develop and maintain our custom Slack bot to improve engineering operations and communication.
- Lead projects to automate and simplify engineering processes, enhancing team productivity.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and local orchestration tools.
- Experience with Slack Bot development and no-code automation tools (e.g., Tines).
- Strong background in Terraform for infrastructure management.
Extensive experience in a technology environment, particularly with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and developer productivity tools.
