Main Duties and
Competencies:
As a contributing member of the Project Controls team, the Intermediate Planner/Scheduler will be required to work closely with other groups, leaders and project managers to support effective and proactive control of project plans and schedules. This position will require a strong commitment to excellence in the development and support for cost control and project management systems, processes, resources, and tools.
Key duties include:
Logic AnalysisVariance analysisAbility to meet safety requirements to attend site visitsEveryday scheduling and maintenanceResource loadingPerform other duties as requestedSchedule trending and impactsIn depth what-if scenario analysisRequirements:
Three (3) years or more of planning and scheduling experience in engineering and consulting environmentsBachelor or Graduate degree in a related fieldField experience and construction planning is an assetStrong MS Excel skills for analysis and reportingProficient with P6 Primavera Project ManagementBackground in Heavy Oil / SAGD projects would be preferred, but not essentialQuality focused with strong attention to detail while being able to maintain a “whole project” perspectiveStrong communication and influencing skills both verbal and writtenWhat we offer:
