The Design Technology Manager utilizes excellent understanding of the design and technical document production process to act as a central resource within the office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide training and support to the project teamsCollaborate in the development and implementation of BIM Project Execution PlansImprove quality and productivity by setting and auditing model integrity of building information modelsEnsure the office is at the forefront of emerging trends and in compliance with NORR standards research and provide recommendations on additional software and technologiesProvide input and insight in the development of firm wide common templates, libraries and other resources by acting as a local office representative on the global Design Technology CommitteeRequired Skills
Have successfully completing related post secondary education in Architecture or EngineeringArchitectural or Engineering software skills; e.g., Revit, and AutoCAD;
Revit family creationBIM technologies and processesCustomer Service, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, time management, integrity, open mindedness, teamwork, adaptability, willingness to learn, leadershipRegistered with a relevant professional architectural, engineering or technologist association, or possessing a BIM certification is an assetRequired Experience
