• Perform quantitative risk analysis of Enbridge Gas transmission and distribution pipeline systems using a consistent framework consistent with the Enbridge risk governance requirements.
• Support Integrity software implementation, data collection, execution, and modelling development for risk & integrity
• Perform root cause analysis, risk refinement and what-if assessments to quantify the impact of possible remedial actions.
• Use engineering statistics, simulations, and data analytics to support effective integrity & risk decisions
Requirements:
• Engineering degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering) with 2 years of experience.
• Relevant industry experience in conducting quantitative risk assessments (QRAs), especially FTA, ETA and consequence analysis considered an asset
• Relevant work experience including pipeline engineering, station engineering, integrity management, and risk assessment considered an asset
• Experience building analytical models, statistical modelling, applied data science, machine learning, model evaluation considered an asset
• Proficient in computer science concepts and experience in various coding languages (e.g. SQL, VB, Python, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
