You will be a member of a team responsible for:
Distributed Energy Resources (DER) planning including completing and reviewing DER connection assessments for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and distributed generation including solar, wind, natural gas, biogas, etc.
DER power system studies regarding impact to the distribution system, power quality and reliability
DER project funding and DER investment planning support
DER hosting capacity publishing and maintenance
DER technical interconnection requirements
Your job duties may include:
Reviewing DER technical interconnection applications for accuracy
Maintaining DER hosting capacity technical accuracy and data
Supporting DER connection assessment impact power system studies and minor revisions utilizing tools such as CYME
Supporting release of funds for DER projects in SAP
Utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to update DER data and performing queries in CRM for reporting purposes
Developing scripts/automation in Excel or Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
This job will provide you with the following professional development:

Being part of a team working on the latest developments in the DER industry such as microgrids, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), grid-connected smart inverters, EVs and smart grid.

Discipline:
Electrical Engineering
Academic Level: Completed 3rd year or higher electrical engineering and completed a power systems course.
Desirable: knowledge of power system fundamentals, software scripting/programming experience, communication skills, teamwork skills, attention to details.
