Could you be the full-time Supervision Control Center (SCC) Management System Architect in Toronto we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your systems architecture expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in the development of SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition), ATS (Automated Train Supervision), and Management Systems (MS). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (system teams, project teams, and engineering teams), ensure the alignment of subsystem solutions with project needs, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of designing subsystem solutions and overseeing subsystem management throughout project execution, but also defining application rules and engineering processes.
We’ll look to you for:
Designing subsystem solutions aligned with project needs
Identifying gaps between project requirements and standard products
Collaborating with system teams on innovative solutions
Overseeing subsystem management throughout project execution
Controlling internal and external interfaces
Coordinating development, integration, and verification & validation
Defining application rules and engineering processes
Planning subsystem migration and deployment strategies
Integrating solution components into a functional system
All about you

Degree in Engineering (BA or equivalent)
10+ years of experience in architecture/software development
Experience or understanding of the railway industry, systems engineering, or large control center systems (an asset)
Proficiency in C#, SQL, SQL Server, and debugging
Familiarity with OPC UA/DA, SNMP, XML, HAproxy, MQTT, and web HMI
Experience with configuration management tools (Git Lab), tracking tools (Clear Quest, RTC, Jira), and requirement management tools (DOORS)
Solid understanding of cybersecurity and Agile/SCRUM principles
Knowledge of Alstom products (a major asset)
