Position: SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID) Administrator

Main Duties and Competencies
The Smart Plant P& reports into the Technology Manager and interacts with a multi-disciplinary team. Key duties include:
Aid with technical requirements gathering and client meetings and implementing new Smart Plant PID (SPPID) buildMaintain the SPPID reference database for projects including transfers, reports, MTO downloads, data integrity, etc. including the customization of reports as per project requirementsTrouble-shoot and solve P& to ensure project integrityDevelop detailed project work instructions for usersSPPID Administration including creating symbology, filters, reports, system maintenance, etc.
Produce setup documentation detailing the SPPID setupFollow department and client drafting methods and standardsCreate auditing requirements and checking for quality assurance of the design effortMaintain and verify daily backup routinesHelp develop automation enhancementsDesign accurate system drawings, in a given time period, adjusting to project requirementsRequirements
Integraph Certified Smart Plant P&/System Administrator is preferred5-10 years’ experience in providing engineering design application support in the Oil and Gas/Petro Chemical Industry5 years’ experience in the use, administration and support of SPPIDStrong aptitude for project planning and implementation of new design softwareKnowledge of VB (.NET or
6) Programming and MSSQL queries will be considered as an assetStrong verbal and written communication skills is a must have to effectively work with the engineering disciplinesHas attended Intergraph Certified SPIID Administration and User Training CoursesHas the ability to effectively conduct training sessions to new usersAbility to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation, and CAD supportThis position requires strong written and verbal communicationWhat we Offer
