Join our client’s team as a Senior Electrical Hardware Designer, where you’ll contribute to the development of new and revised products, equipment, and installations! You’ll work on designs ranging from moderate to high complexity, applying solid engineering principles to meet stringent technical and safety requirements. In this role, you’ll take ownership of assigned work packages, ensure the accuracy and quality of hardware designs, and help drive improvements in product performance, cost, and reusability.
This is a short-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension. Note this is a hybrid role.
You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, conducting technical reviews, presenting solution options, and ensuring that all design work aligns with customer needs, budget expectations, and industry standards. You’ll play an active role in bid support, requirements interpretation, and documentation creation—while also mentoring junior team members and contributing to a professional, collaborative engineering environment.
The ideal candidate brings over 6 years of design experience in electrical/electronics. This comes with an expertise in cabling, grounding, surge protection, power and electronic circuit design, telecommunications circuits, and hands-on use of engineering tools (AutoCAD, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers). Strong communication skills, a proven record of complex electrical design, and proficiency with current technologies are essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Hourly Rate Range: $60-$66
