Position Summary

At Quantum Lifecycle Partners, safety is not a checkbox or a binder on a shelf. It is how we look out for each other every day. We are looking for an EHS Manager who enjoys being out on the floor, talking to people, and helping teams do their work safely. This role is hands‑on, people‑focused, and built for someone who wants to lead through presence, trust, and practical problem solving.

If you are energized by real operations and real conversations, not desk‑only safety work, this role may be a great fit.

What this role is about

This role exists to help Quantum take its health, safety, and environmental culture to the next level. You will work closely with the VP, Business Operations and partner with Operations, HR, Legal, and site leaders across Canada, US, and Costa Rica. Your focus will be on reducing preventable injuries, strengthening PPE and procedure adherence, and making sure our safety and environmental systems show up in day‑to‑day work.

This is not a desk job. You will spend meaningful time in our facilities, building trust with frontline teams and supervisors and helping translate expectations into safe habits.

  • Turn trends into practical improvements that teams can use
  • Systems that support operations

  • Emergency response and security partnership

  • Oversee first aid programs and emergency response readiness
  • Partner with third‑party security teams as a neutral, independent resource
  • Support fair and unbiased investigations related to safety, security, or data protection
  • Developing people

  • Mentor and grow a developing EHS team
  • Help leaders at all levels take ownership of safety

  • Proven track record of improving safety culture and reducing preventable incidents, particularly those related to procedural adherence and PPE.
  • Experience working directly with hourly workforces and frontline supervisors.
  • Experience mentoring and developing early career EHS professionals.
  • Formal certifications matter, but attitude, judgment, and presence matter just as much.

  • CRSP, CSP, or equivalent professional designation preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor experience is an asset.
  • First Aid, Incident Command System (ICS), or Emergency Response training is an asset.
