Graham is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead design management for major building construction projects in Ontario—and to dig deep into complex design challenges.

This role goes beyond oversight; you’ll actively engage in solving intricate design problems for some of the region’s most exciting infrastructure projects, including state‑of‑the‑art healthcare facilities.

As the design lead for the Ontario Buildings Division, you’ll execute the design vision, ensuring strategies are translated into practical, high‑quality solutions. You’ll build and mentor a talented design management team, foster collaboration, and guide consultant partners to deliver exceptional results.

• Execute design strategies across all phases of major building projects
• Enforce design policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Identify and mitigate design risks while optimizing cost and efficiency
• Build and lead a high‑performing design management team
• Oversee consultant teams to ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables
• Drive clash detection and design coordination for flawless execution
• Audit design documents to meet performance specifications and industry benchmarks
• Lead Engineering Services During Construction (ESDC) throughout execution
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver best‑in‑class solutions

• Extensive experience in hospital and long‑term care facility design preferred
• Degree in Engineering or Architecture (LEED, PMP, and P.Eng are assets)
• 15+ years in construction design management
• Familiarity with Lean or IPD projects is an advantage
• Proven success in Design‑Build procurement methods
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and BIM tools
• Strong working knowledge of Navisworks (3D & 4D) and REVIT
