This interdisciplinary course will draw from the sciences, social sciences and the humanities to explore major social, cultural, economic, regulatory, ethical, ecological and technological aspects of environmental issues.

• PhD in relevant area of study or equivalent professional and/or academic experience required.

• Relevant academic or professional publications and previous experience teaching a similar large undergraduate course in an online asynchronous format are highly desirable.

• Develop a detailed syllabus and curriculum for the course.
• Teach the course in an asynchronous format.
• Evaluate student performance.
• Hold office hours and meet with students as requested.
• Manage a team of teaching assistants.
• Handle other pedagogical and administrative tasks ordinarily associated with an undergraduate course.
