Appointment Details
The Department of Aerospace Engineering is seeking instructors to teach the courses listed below:
Course Information
a) A full workload half-sessional appointment is for 15 hours in any one semester.
b) A reduced workload half-sessional appointment is for at least 9 but less than 15 semester hours in any one semester.
c) A part-time hourly appointment / one semester is for less than 9 hours in any one semester.
Qualifications
1. Must have Master's degree or equivalent industrial experience in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
2. Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level would be an asset.
3. Applicants should have good human-relation skills, including reliability, collegiality, professionalism, a respect for the rights of co-workers and students, and ability to meet commitment.
4. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of personal computers that are relevant to this course, including document creation, file management, internet research, and communications.
5. Applicants should have the experience and skills to teach a diverse student population, and assist us to further advance equity, diversity and inclusion.

Specific Qualifications
AER 403 - Industrial or teaching experience in aerospace mechanisms and vibrations.
