Content Producer, Math (12-month Contract)

About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Math & Science, the Content Producer will collaborate with the Content & Curriculum team to develop responsive, forward-looking math learning experiences. Projects are high-profile, requiring a broad skillset, flexibility, and a hands-on approach to deliver quality solutions within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Experience Design & Conceptualization (30%)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize engaging content that drives usage and retention.
  • Contribute to content strategy and improve Edwin content quality and coverage.
  • Propose new experiences, create requirements, mock-ups, or prototypes for interactive content.
  • Consider customer needs, teaching challenges, and curriculum in content development.
  • Develop content outlines, plans, and schedules for Edwin modules, overseeing their publication.
  • Use feedback and data to prioritize content revisions and additions.
  • Manage editorial calendars and ensure timely content features.
  • Develop and manage templates, guidelines, and best practices for inclusive, engaging content.
  • Research, write, edit, and storyboard various content formats.
  • Support marketing with key benefit statements.
  • Rapid, Responsive Content Development (35%)
  • Use agile methods to develop app-ready Edwin content.
  • Research, write, edit, and create HTML content for students and teachers.
  • Coordinate with team members and freelancers to meet deadlines.
  • Submit platform improvement tickets and respond to content requirements promptly.
  • Who You Are

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, especially in Math K-12.
    • Extensive experience in content creation for web, app, videos, interactives, or games in EdTech.
    • Strong understanding of K-12 pedagogy, curriculum, and instructional design.
    • Excellent communication, research, and attention to detail skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Cultural awareness and inclusivity.
    • Problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
    • Proficiency in HTML;
      French language skills are an asset.
