Responsibilities
Invigilating/supervising tests and exams
Maintaining academic integrity by strictly adhering to the University’s regulations, policies, and procedures regarding tests/exams
Maintaining confidentiality of student and test/exam information
Setting up exam rooms and keeping test/exam rooms organized
Documenting any incidents during tests/exam and reporting incidents to professor
3.0 Hours+/Term Performing invigilation duties for mid-term or final exams as required.
3.00 hours per exam/Estimated Total Hours of Work
* You may invigilate more than one exam, pending on availability for exam schedule.
* Actual hours may vary at offer time dependent on qualifications and determined rate of pay. Employees can work up to a maximum of 130 hours per semester or 390 hours per academic. Employees shall not be guaranteed work and when not on assignment they shall not receive any pay or payment in lieu of benefits.

Description:
Previous invigilation experience preferred
Applicants must NOT be current undergraduate students, greater preference is given to TMU graduate students
Strong knowledge of exam policy, procedures, and academic integrity preferred
Punctuality and reliability are essential
Ability to handle emergency/stressful situations effectively and with attention to detail
Ability to use tact/discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential situations
Good communication skills - oral and written
Salary & Compensation
September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026
Exam Invigilator - $29.43 per hour
