: starting at $445 per week (+$60 per week for NL and WAFA) with additional compensation provided for relevant certifications and experience.

The Leadership Trainers are responsible for executing our Leadership Development program. Leadership Trainers will provide the required skills and experience to facilitate an effective leadership curriculum, ensure the needs of the LD1 and LD2 participants are being met, and deliver a safe and challenging out-trip program. Leadership Trainers will work in pairs, working with LD1 participants for two two-week sessions, and with LD2 participants for the other month.

The Leadership Trainers will be the acting out-trippers for their leadership out-trips and will participate in a mandatory week-long out-trip training prior to the start of the summer. Leadership Trainers will assist in the design and evaluation of the Leadership Development program, as well as the scheduling, planning, and execution of the program.

Required
:
Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) (or willing to obtain), National Lifeguard (NL), Safe Food Handler’s certification, experience facilitating leadership curriculum, experience leading backcountry out-trips with youth.

Preferred
:
Wilderness First Responder, ORCKA Canoe Trip Instructor.
