Job Summary

For the upcoming summer, we are actively seeking an in-person SAT tutor in the area of North Toronto. This role involves working closely with students to offer individualized support and guidance in their SAT preparation. If you have a passion for making a difference in students' academic lives and specialize in the subjects tested on the SAT, we would love to have you join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support specifically tailored to the SAT, leveraging your expertise and knowledge.
• Create supplemental assignments to deepen students' understanding of SAT material.
• Offer both remedial and enrichment support tailored to individual student needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to report on student progress and outcomes.

• Energetic and enthusiastic about teaching, with prior experience in education.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service to students and their families.
• A love for working with students and engaging with families.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships.

• Holds registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or is qualified to teach in a Canadian Province/Territory outside Ontario.
• Is a current teacher candidate, pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
• Has experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College.
